By profession an English teacher, translator and brewer. By passion, he is a historical reconstructionist, amateur cook, obsessive fan of ancient crafts and Gothic architecture. He loves to rediscover forgotten ingredients, flavors and recipes, and happened to translate medieval cookbooks into Polish and brew beer using methods from ancient Egypt. For him, beer is an extraordinary story that stretches through countries and peoples from Neolithic times to the present. It is an extraordinary wealth of colors, flavors and aromas, interwoven with the life stories of extraordinary people, stories and war and love, successes and failures. He hopes to write a few sentences in this beer chronicle with his own hand.
